Peace weavers of Tigray : The “Peace Weavers of Tigray” initiative, supported by ActionAid Ethiopia under the SPA II program, is a comprehensive effort focused on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and social reconciliation within the Tigray region and beyond. The program aims to empower youth with the tools and platforms to foster peace and inclusion, prioritizing the voices of marginalized groups.

Activities included training 120 youth leaders in peacebuilding and conflict resolution skills through workshops and virtual dialogues over 45 days, encompassing in-person sessions, virtual cross-regional youth dialogues, social media campaigns, and art-based peace initiatives.
The initiative successfully enhanced awareness, developed practical skills in mediation and trauma-informed care, strengthened peer networks, and promoted sustainable positive peace by addressing the root causes of conflict
