Gendered Misinformation Workshop

A workshop to address gendered misinformation on social media in Ethiopia in partnership with #defyhatenow Ethiopia aimed to raise awareness about the prevalence and impact of gendered misinformation while providing participants with the knowledge and skills to identify, fact-check, and debunk it. To develop digital literacy skills to responsibly navigate online information. A dedicated social media group was established to encourage women to share information, collaborate, and amplify their voices against gendered misinformation to take action against harmful narratives.
