Bahirdar Hate Speech Mitigation Workshop Bahirdar, Amhara Region

In collaboration with #defyhatenow Ethiopia, we conducted a hate speech mitigation workshop in Bahirdar, focusing on the Amhara region. To address the spread of hate speech on social media and within local communities. Introducing practical strategies to identify, counter, and reduce hate speech, emphasizing the importance of promoting tolerance and preventing conflict. Created a platform to explore the root causes of hate speech and its impact on society teaching effective ways to foster a more inclusive and respectful environment.
