Peacebuilding Curriculum Development and Training of Trainers
Positive Peace Ethiopia is seeking a qualified consultant to develop a comprehensive Peacebuilding Curriculum and deliver a five-day Training of Trainers under the SelamConnect+ project.
About the Assignment
This consultancy will support PPE to standardize and institutionalize its peacebuilding, dialogue, conflict transformation, and social cohesion training approach. The selected consultant will develop a practical curriculum package and deliver a five-day Training of Trainers for selected participants.

Develop
Prepare the curriculum, guide, tools, and participant materials.
Train
Deliver a practical five-day Training of Trainers.
Finalize
Submit the final curriculum package and assignment report.
Proposed Curriculum Modules
The curriculum will consist of six core modules designed for practical use in institutional and community settings.
Foundations of Peacebuilding
Peacebuilding, conflict transformation, positive peace, and social cohesion.
Conflict Analysis
Conflict drivers, connectors, dividers, triggers, and context sensitivity.
Dialogue Facilitation
Dialogue, mediation basics, active listening, and nonviolent communication.
Inclusion and Resilience
Youth, gender, community resilience, and inclusive peacebuilding.
Media and Digital Spaces
Misinformation, hate speech, digital engagement, and creative peace advocacy.
Training Facilitation
Adult learning, session planning, facilitation practice, and cascade planning.

Timeline Snapshot

Required Consultant Profile
The consultant should have demonstrated experience in peacebuilding, conflict transformation, social cohesion, curriculum development, Training of Trainers design, and participatory facilitation. Strong knowledge of Ethiopia’s peacebuilding, civic engagement, media, and social cohesion context is highly desirable.
